Sweet Mulberry Bonbons

Hi everyone!

Are you, by any chance, looking for a healthy snack idea? Well, then this post is for you. If you’re kind of into the healthy food trends for a while you’ve probably seen them pop up at other places on the internet as well, the so called: bliss balls. 

I don’t know why, but I don’t really like that name. It’s like combining heaven and hell in one word, I mean a sweet word as bliss can hardly be combined with a word like ‘balls’. And then there is another problem: Nobody knows what they’re made of until the ingredients are completely shown. So why not just call them in a way that we can understand what we are eating. I’m sorry for the people who really like the word, but I just can’t haha.

Well, anyway let’s call these Sweet Mulberry Bonbons.
They’re easy to make, extremely healthy and you can store them for up to two weeks in the fridge. I hope you like them!

Ingredients:

  • 2 hands of mulberries
  • 3 hands of walnuts
  • 2 hands of shredded coconut
  • 8 big medjooldates (take the pits out!)
  • pinch of cinnamon and Himalayan salt

Instruction:

Simple put all of the ingredients in the blender except for 1/3 of the shredded coconut, the cinnamon and the salt. Mix it until everything turns into one ‘mass’. Taste it and add cinnamon and salt to taste. If you’re satisfied: make little balls and roll them into the rest of the coconut flakes.

You can enjoy them right away or place them in the fridge to stiffen up a little bit. I hope you like them!
